JOB SUMMARY:
Under supervision, perform a variety of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor repairs on
HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems. This role reports to the Chief Engineer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Perform a variety of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor repairs on HVAC, electrical,
and plumbing equipment and systems.
• Inspect interior common areas, vacant spaces, and exterior grounds to identify necessary repairs and
maintenance.
• Respond to tenant service requests and other work orders timely and professionally.
• Provide access to all third-party mechanical and service vendors as needed.
• Perform carpentry work, drywall patching, and painting.
• Replace ceiling tiles and change light bulbs/lamps and clean fixtures.
• Learn and follow operations & maintenance programs and safety and environmental procedures and
directives, specifically hazardous communications program and lockout-tagout programs.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned..


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 0-3 years related work experience.
• High school diploma or trade school training.
• Willingness to obtain Universal CFC license, technical degree, or certificate in HVAC.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in small spaces and at heights from ladders.
• Availability after-hours, including weekends, for emergency calls is required.
• Driver’s license and travel around the portfolio in personal vehicle are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook email and Word.
• Must have strong work ethic and be able to work proactively and independently.
• Must collaborate and communicate well with supervisors, colleagues, and contractors.
